Help Maine's Youth Learn Financial and Entrepreneurial Skills

Rebecca_JA.jpgImprove Our Economic Future

Junior Achievement of Maine (JA) has been operating for over 50 years. Its mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. To do that, JA offers free financial literacy programs to Maine K–12 students. Each year, they reach around 11,000 Maine students. But they would love to reach more!

Studies show that JA programs result in students who are:

  • More likely to graduate from high school
  • More likely to matriculate to college
  • More likely to hold an executive-level job
  • Less likely to be homeless or impovershed

How Can You Help?

Junior Achievement relies on two things to do its important work: Donations from the business community, and a "volunteer army" of professionals who teach JA lessons in the classroom. Please consider becoming a volunteer or donor (or both!) today.
